First introduced in 1984, Blanton’s made history as the world’s first commercially released single barrel bourbon, transforming the way American whiskey was presented to enthusiasts. Produced at the historic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky, the bourbon is named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who managed the distillery from 1912 to 1953 and was known for personally selecting the finest barrels for private bottlings.
Blanton’s Gold Edition represents a more powerful and refined interpretation of the classic single barrel style. Bottled at a higher strength than the standard release, it delivers greater depth, richness and structure while preserving the brand’s signature balance of sweetness and spice. Each barrel offers its own subtle nuances, making every bottle a unique expression of Blanton’s celebrated Kentucky straight bourbon character.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich caramel, honey and vanilla with notes of orange peel, toasted oak and baking spices.
Palate: Full-bodied and complex with flavours of toffee, sweet corn, candied citrus, nutmeg and dark chocolate.
Finish: Long and warming with lingering vanilla, oak spice and gentle pepper.
