The Ardmore distillery produces a moderately peated single malt (between 12 and 14 ppm of phenols).
This version, aged in bourbon casks, features a smooth and smoky profile with notes of baked apples, bourbon vanilla, gentian, and earthy peat.
Reduced to 40% ABV without chill filtration or added coloring, it has a rich, highly aromatic profile and a slightly cloudy appearance.
For the most authentic tasting experience, it can be enjoyed at room temperature or slightly chilled to enhance its oily texture.
