Founded in 1948, a few months after India’s independence, this family-owned company based in Bangalore, in the south of the country, produces whisky following Scottish traditions while claiming its Indian origins. Indeed, it almost exclusively uses barley grown in the fertile plains at the foothills of the Himalayas. Established at nearly 1000 meters above sea level and subject to a tropical climate, its warehouses where mainly bourbon casks rest are real accelerators of aging.

Tasting Notes


Nose : Gourmand, on candied tropical fruits. Cane sugar evolves into notes of caramel and vanilla topping, complemented by unique phenolic notes brought by the maturation in ex-bourbon casks.

Palate : Silky, with flavors of tropical fruits, salted butter caramel, and honey. The vanilla topping is also present on the palate. In the mid-palate, notes of lemon and banana appear. The esters, brought by the long duration of maturation in a tropical climate, are very soft.

Finish : Refreshing and peaty with notes of vanilla.

Profile : Gourmand and silky.
