Nose:
Rich and full-bodied. Notes of vanilla, herbs (cut hay), sweet treats (marshmallow), fruits (passion fruit, mirabelle plum), flowers (violet), and liquorice (zan) create an aromatic profile that is both fresh and heady. With aeration, aromas of candied sugar and malted barley mingle with fermented notes of porridge and brewer?s yeast.
Palate:
Full-bodied and refined. Generously fruity (pineapple, passion fruit, banana, mirabelle plum, Williams pear), the flavour profile is supported by exceptionally smooth notes of gentian root, fresh ginger, and barley grain. Brightened by citrus zest (lemon, grapefruit), it gradually becomes more malty, herbal, and gently infused (chamomile).
Finish:
Dense and soft. Drifting briefly into the world of rum (cane sugar), it soon returns to malty territory (mash and barley grain). Rustic (dandelion), milky (coconut), and honeyed (lavender), the retro-olfaction echoes the vanilla and fruity nuances of the nose. Intense, the empty glass reveals camphor, resinous notes, and heady dried flowers.
