Located in the eastern part of the Highlands region, the Aberfeldy distillery uses spring water with a hard mineral character.

It produces a single malt that reveals generous notes of grains and fruits. Showing great firmness, Aberfeldy single malt is the most powerful of the Midlands malts.

The best versions also exhibit great sweetness on the palate. For a long time, it was limited to two official versions – a 12-year-old and a 21-year-old – but several single casks have been released since 2009 to the delight of connoisseurs. It is also the base malt for the famous Dewar’s blend.
