Through the Grapevine is a collection curated by La Maison & Velier (LM&V), the joint venture between La Maison du Whisky and Velier. It is dedicated to revealing the artisan heart of Cognac. Lot 94 from Vallein Tercinier is an enchanting exploration of the Fins Bois terroir. Complex, autumnal and texturally rich, it unveils generous layers of fruit, flowers, chocolate, spice, medicinal tones and soft empyreumatic notes. Its flavour and aroma palette offers a vivid sense of place, shaped by the region’s mixture of clay, limestone and sandy soils. This single cask stands out for its depth and vibrancy, capturing the natural elegance and warmth the define Fins Bois when expressed at maturity.

Based in Chermignac in the heart of Saintogne, Domaine des Forges has remained in the Vallein-Tercinier family since 1791. Today, sixth-generation custodians, Catherine and Louis Tercinier, continue the house tradition of distilling wines from their own Bons Bois and Fins Bois vineyards, while also selecting exceptional eaux-de-vie from other crus for their independent bottlings. Known for their meticulous blending and deep cellar reserves, the Tercinier family produces Cognacs of remarkable precision, purity and character.
