Matured in cream sherry casks, the wine-soaked oak gently rounds the malt’s naturally elegant profile, layering soft fruit sweetness and mellow spice over a structured core. Notes of sticky dates, polished leather and ripe berries unfold with restraint and balance, offering a smooth, richly textured sherry style that remains refined rather than overpowering. Released as part of Elixir Distillers’ Blueprint series, it highlights the influence of a single, carefully chosen maturation style.

Founded in 1958 by Long John Distillers, Tormore holds a unique place in Scotch whisky history as the first distillery built in the 20th century. Designed by renowned architect Sir Albert Richardson, its striking listed buildings are among Speyside’s most distinctive landmarks. Since 2005, Tormore has been owned by Chivas Brothers (Pernod Ricard) and contributes significantly to blends such as Ballantine’s. Through the Blueprint series, Elixir Distillers brings renewed focus to Tormore as a single malt, exploring its flavour spectrum and shaping the foundations of its future identity.
