This limited-edition Tequila Ocho release comes from La Estancia, a single field (“Rancho”) situated in the San Diego de Alejandría municipality in Jalisco. Harvested at an altitude of 1,875 metres, the agave plants reached exceptional maturity, with piñas averaging 22 kg and boasting a remarkably high sugar concentration of 280–300 g/kg — significantly above the industry norm. Produced slowly and traditionally, this expression highlights the purity of highland agave, shaped by limestone-rich soils, gentle slopes and a unique micro-terroir. The result is a fresh, aromatic and terroir-driven tequila crafted with absolute transparency and precision.

Tequila Ocho is produced by the third generation of the famed Camarenas family, one of Mexico’s most respected tequilero dynasties. Known for pioneering a terroir-led philosophy in tequila, Ocho was the first brand to declare both vintage and the exact field (“Rancho”) of harvest on its labels. Each batch is distilled from agaves grown exclusively in a single field for that year, mirroring the principles of fine wine and single-parcel bottlings.
