Founded in 1876 in the heart of Speyside, Glenlossie has long operated away from the spotlight. Incorporated into Scottish Malt Distillers Ltd after the First World War and rebuilt following a devastating fire in 1929, the distillery expanded its capacity in 1962 but has remained almost entirely dedicated to blending. What sets Glenlossie apart is its unique use of purifiers on the lyne arms of its stills—an uncommon feature that produces a lighter, silkier spirit with refined floral nuances. Official single malt releases are extremely rare, making independent bottlings like this especially prized among whisky lovers.
