Located in the northern Highlands and rebuilt in 1967 on its original site, Clynelish has since produced a fresh and fruity malt, most of which is used in Johnnie Walker blends.
The original distillery was not demolished but was renamed Brora in 1969. It produced a powerful and heavily peated Highland malt.
This distillery closed its doors in 1983, and its bottlings are particularly sought after by collectors.
