MARTINIQUE

Martinique rum stands out for its fresh sugarcane base befitting of the island’s AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée). Grown in volcanic soil, the cane imparts a distinct flavour.

Distillation methods preserve aromas, resulting in lighter, floral rums. Aged on the island, they gain notes of vanilla, coconut, and dried fruit.

JAMAICA

Jamaican rum boasts a bold, funky flavour thanks to wild yeasts and unique ingredients.

Ingredients like leftover fermentation residues (dunder and muck) are used to create intense estery notes – think banana, pineapple, and spice.

Distilled in pot stills for extra body, Jamaican rum packs a complex punch, perfect for sipping or fiery cocktails.

BARBADOS

Barbadian rum’s signature can be traced to the blending of pot and column still distillates.

Twice-distilled pot rums offer depth, while lighter column rums add finesse. This creates a balanced, smooth spirit.

Aged in bourbon or whisky barrels, Barbadian rum picks up hints of vanilla, caramel, and subtle oak. They’re known for versatility, ideal for sipping neat or mixing in classic cocktails.

HAITI

Haitian clairin is a rum unlike any other. Made from fresh cane juice by hundreds of small producers, each with secret touches.

Wild yeasts and fermentation in open-air tanks create a funky, grassy character. Unaged or minimally aged, clairin offers a raw, rustic taste of the Haitian terroir, bursting with earthy and herbal notes.

It’s a true reflection of its unique culture and a world away from mainstream rums.

GRENADA

Renegade Rum breaks the mold by focusing on terroir. They use fresh sugarcane juice grown on specific Grenadian plots.

Each plot’s volcanic soil and microclimate influence the cane’s flavour, leading to unique rums traceable to the land.

These “études” can be enjoyed as single-farm bottlings, or blended into complex “cuvées” that showcase the full potential of rum as a terroir-driven spirit.
