Profile: the concentrated initial nose is characterized by notes of mango, orange and apricot. Allowed to breathe, it becomes floral (iris) and mentholated. The slender attack is vanilla, fibrous (sugarcane) and spicy (ginger). The mid-palate reveals precious wood (beeswax). The silky finish is in turn floral, fruity and syrupy (apricot). The retronasal olfaction is powdery (cocoa). Exclusive to LMDW.
VALE ROYAL 12 Years 2006 VRW
Drawing on the style of the old Vale Royal Wedderburn distillery, this version was created at Long Pond. Produced from a long fermentation in the traditional Jamaican style, with particular luminosity, it reveals very complex fruit, abundant floral notes and noble, diverse spices. Overflowing with generosity, it has chosen the paths of classicism to bring out all of the nuances of its palette of flavours and aromas.
