Based on the original ‘Bitter of Turin’, this recipe dates back to 1860 and is an aperitif featuring an infusion of herbs, roots and aromatic plants including bitter orange peel, absinthe, gentian and rhubarb. Its aromas unleash an almost sacred quality. This may be due to its notes of incense, encaustic paint and flowers. A spirit with a spiritual side.
