TASTING NOTE
Appearance : gold.
Nose : fine, subtle. Its notes of green apple and freshly-cut grass develop into cooked barley and star anise. It develops into dried fruit (apple) and cinnamon. Evocative of perfume. vetiver.
Palate : round, full-bodied, it reveals notes of citrus fruit (orange, clementine), spices (pepper) and flowers (lily). The composition is lifted by a pinch of salt and green walnut.
Overall : long, rich. Ripe pear rubs shoulders with red berries (blackcurrant, Morello cherry). Develops notes of green almond and herbs (thyme, savory). The retro-nasal olfaction marks a powerful return to malted barley.
