Located on the slopes of Mount Pelée, a volcano in the northern part of Martinique, the smallest distillery on the island benefits from an exceptional terroir that has given the eaux-de-vie produced there since 1932 their unique taste and character. The distillery, which will celebrate its 85th anniversary this year, continues to innovate and pursue excellence, as demonstrated by this 48.5% XO bottling. Aging takes place in French oak and Bourbon barrels to enhance the development of mature flavors and infuse the rum with the delightful embrace of gourmandise. It is a blend of rums aged for 9, 11, and 12 years. A symbol of Neisson’s tradition and renewal, this XO captivates us and offers a brilliant aromatic symphony.
