Extremely elegant, this grappa is matured for at least three years in barrels made of Slovenian oak which is particularly imporous.
The Riserva and Riserva 15 year grappas are matured in Slovenian oak barrels which are particularly imporous and give the grappa its aromas of white-fleshed fruit, cinnamon and acacia honey. Interestingly, the 15 year-old version, introduced in 2004 on the 225th anniversary of the distillery, is the first new product to be added to the range since the 1930s!

TASTING NOTE
Appearance : pale yellow.
Nose : both fresh and intoxicating. Vegetal (cut hay), fruity (raisins), resinous and honeyed. Develops into eucalyptus and quince. Floral notes (carnations).
Palate : lively, elegant. Brimming with fruit (pear, pineapple, black grapes and lemon). Liquorice-based, it develops into almond milk, apricot kernels and raspberry.
Overall : long, rich. Reappearance of vegetal and floral notes on the nose. Fibrous, not at all woody.
