The Strathisla distillery was named Milton from 1890 to 1951. As this is probably the only bottle of Milton that exists and will exist, Gordon & MacPhail decided to use this name to emphasize the extreme rarity and historical importance of this bottle. This Milton distilled in 1949 and aged for 72 years in a Sherry Puncheon is a rich and complex single malt. Only 180 bottles available worldwide. The Private Collection range brings together a collection of exceptional single malts by their age and quality. Coming from unique casks shaped by time, they honor distilleries, whether famous, discreet or silent. Private Collection captures the very essence of Gordon & MacPhail: sublimating whisky.
