Description
Tasting Notes
Nose : Concentrated, rich. Absolutely luxurious, it takes us inside the cellars of a bodega in Jerez de la Frontera. Precious wood mixes with the enchanting scents of sherry: nuts, almond, apricot, red and black fruits, brandy cherry, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla… a salty air rushes through the slightest gap.
Palate : Captivating, supple. Malted barley pierces the veil of yeasts (flor). It adds herbaceous notes (cut hay, green malt) and aromatic plants (verbena, sage). It becomes more oily (tapenade) and floral (hyacinth, peony). Ripe apples look towards the Pays d’Auge.
Finish : Long, silky. Of rare elegance, its spices enhance every flavor. Its racy character is marked by fresh tobacco, leather, precious wood, wax and incense. The retro-olfaction is of rare complexity (red fruits, dried fig). The empty glass offers a new olfactory journey.
