LONGMORN

$1,450.00

This 33 year old Longmorn, distilled in 1987, was aged in Bourbon casks before being bottled at its natural strength in the Connoisseur Choice Upper range. This single malt pleasantly mixes gourmet (caramel, vanilla, pineapple) and spicy (sweet pepper, black pepper) notes. Of all the existing trading ranges, Connoisseur Choice is probably the oldest. Revised and modified several times since its creation, this range knows how to preserve all its quality and its essence. Connoisseurs Choice single malts invite the connoisseur to discover the unique expressions of Scotland’s finest distilleries, through different degrees, maturities, years and profiles.

Description

THE BRAND
Although Longmorn does not enjoy the same “touristic renown” as its counterpart Strathisla, the quality of its malt whisky makes up for this. Both are owned by Pernod Ricard and are essential components in the Chivas blend, although Longmorn has a more unique and naturally fruity, gourmet character, which lends itself to bourbon or sherry cask ageing.
