Tasting Notes

Nose : A beautiful harmony between vegetal, woody, and smoky notes. The influence of the barrel is very strong: vanilla, coffee, toasted oak, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The fruit is here in the background and makes us think of heady flowers, hibiscus, jasmine, and lilacs. With time, more straightforward notes of passion fruit, leather, and blond tobacco arrive, not to mention licorice candy.

Palate : Beautiful, rich, and almost liqueur-like material that echoes the aromas of the nose, with a straightforward note of tonka bean and very ripe mango.

Finish : Finish on English cream sprinkled with cinnamon, with a beautiful astringence that gives structure and verticality to this rum, which is nonetheless very rich and indulgent.
