TASTING NOTE
Appearance : gold.
Nose : lively and creamy. The very complex first nose is in turns exotic (passion fruit, banana), herbaceous (verbena), resinous (pine) and roasted (coffee). Allowed to breathe, agave fragrances eloquently bring a tequila reposado to mind. Lime, salt and pepper take over the aroma palette. Boxwood, vanilla and porridge enthusiastically punctuate the first part of the tasting.
Palate : svelte, dynamic. The particularly exotic attack (kaffir lime, passion fruit, pineapple) is also spicy (clove) and medicinal (cough sweets). The refreshing mid-palate invites us to savour a delicious infusion of verbena and lime blossom honey. At the end of the palate, liquorice, cinnamon and chocolate coat the sides of the palate in a very pleasant bitterness.
Overall : long, rich. The particularly well-balanced start of the finish is at once luscious (white mint), tangy (lemon zest), herbaceous (tobacco, coriander) and jammy (peach, pear). As it lingers, the retro-nasal olfaction focuses on the deeply cocoa and liquorice nature of the flavour palette. The empty glass wavers between tiger balm, coconut milk and vanilla.
