Ki No Tea is a limited edition created in collaboration with tea-grower and blender, Hori-Shichimeien. The tea production, founded in the Meiji era in 1879 is based in the famous Uji region, south of Kyoto city. This Japanese tea is made from super-premium Uji tea leaves which have been specially selected to form the heart of Ki No Tea. The leaves of Tencha and Gyokuro provide intense aromas and depth of flavour with a wonderful sweetness that occurs naturally in the distillation of these superior teas. The distillery uses leaves harvested in the Okunoyama tea yard, which dates back to 1300’s. The carefully selected leaves are then blended carefully with secret botanical recipe used only in Ki No Tea.
Profile: Soft and delicate
