Description
Tasting Notes
Nose : superb, deep. Successive touches of candied oranges, precious wood, dried fruits (apricot, prune), sweet spices (pink peppercorns) and heady flowers (purple lilac, rose) indicate that we are in the presence of a very great single malt. It develops on precious wood, leather and fresh tobacco.
Palate : elegant, smooth. Initially reserved, almost timid. This only lasts a short time, very quickly it reveals with nobility notes of blood oranges, thyme, honeysuckle and new spices (saffron, cloves). Heather honey and iris concrete testify to the finesse of its wood aging. Cypress and mint add a balsamic touch.
Finish : delicate, downy. Cocoa beans, candied ginger and salted butter caramel create a particularly harmonious atmosphere. It develops on peppermint and almond orange marmalade. In the retro-olfaction, enveloped in a fine layer of soot, ripe fruits (plum, pear), exotic (mango, guava) and nut oil extend the pleasure.
