Tasting Notes

Nose : Fine and refined. Very lovely, the initial nose is marked by succulent notes of sugar cane and juicy pineapple. With aeration, lavender honey blends with aromatic herbs (cardamom, sage), candied citrus (lemon, pomelo), and spices (nutmeg).

Palate : Lively and voluptuous. The ripe pineapple notes from the nose are present. In the mid-palate, coconut milk, rosemary, and savory cover particularly appetizing chocolatey flavors. The aftertaste gradually becomes more medicinal (balm), licorice-like, and spicy (star anise, clove).

Finish : Long and indulgent. The beginning of the finish is spicy (cinnamon). With great finesse, it reveals a powdery (cocoa) but also pastry-like (rum baba) character. While a heady floral sequence (petunia, geranium) pervades the end of the palate, the empty glass evokes sugar cane, as well as finely caramelized molasses.
