Profile: the full-bodied and mature initial nose is exotic (pineapple, apple) and honeyed. Gradually it becomes floral (lily). The dense attack is syrupy, spicy and vanilla. It then becomes increasingly herbaceous, with the finish even painting a green and luscious countryside. The end of the palate is slightly medicinal (camphor). Single Cask no. 4283 – Bourbon Barrel.
GLENCRAIG 42 ans 1976 30th Anniversary S.V
From 1958 to 1981, Glenburgie distillery was equipped with two Lomond stills, which it used to produce a single malt called Glencraig. Distilled on 11 June 1976, this very fresh and dynamic version takes particular pleasure in playing with contrasts. Firstly in its aromas, it harmoniously unites fresh and dried fruit, and heady florals and aromatic plants. Then, in its flavours, it is both syrupy and herbaceous, then rustic and maritime. Straddling sunshine and shade, it reveals stunning serenity.
