More than 50 years old, this 1961 Glen Grant – a spicy and slightly smoky whiskey – is first a single malt for tasting. Aged entirely in first fill sherry casks, it is marked on the nose by notes of dark chocolate, peppermint, cereal, vanilla and, with a little water, a dash of peat. On the palate, it possesses whiffs of currants, blueberries, mint, licorice, anise and orange. A great Speyside!
