Nose : Burnt matches and iodine, lemon and orange peel, syrupy fruits and maraschino cherries. Sumptuous melted caramel and ginger emerge after adding a drop of water.
Palate : The velvety texture bursts instantly with warm, astringent peat. Smoky, before opening up to sea salt and crushed black pepper. After the spice, there is a generous portion of grapefruit marmalade spread on toasted rye bread.
Finish : Dry with more citrus, malted barley, tarragon, and green tomatoes.
