Velier is a company owned by passionate individual, Luca Gargano, who is constantly searching for forgotten barrels in Caribbean distilleries. He began selling his first single cask bottlings in 1994. In 2001, Velier partnered with Demerara Distillers Ltd and since then has had the unique opportunity to select a series of single barrels directly from Warehouse No. 1 in Georgetown each year. The range is unique due to the tropical aging climate, with a portion of angels’ share at least four times higher than European aging.
