Very pale gold in color. The initial nose reveals earthy, smoky, and spicy notes (pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon) before agave notes take over the palate. Then, it’s the turn of citrus (lemon, grapefruit) and salt to enter the scene in an aromatic sequence full of spice and character. Subtly licorice-flavored, it soon reveals another spice, star anise. The palate is honeyed (linden), floral (lily, iris), and delicately woody (oak, cedar). Citrus ultimately takes the lead, pouring its sweet juice on the taste buds.
