Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2012, this unique single malt has been produced from malted barley and peated to 51 ppm (parties par million). Aged in bourbon barrel, refill Hogshead barrels and new Hogshead barrels, this whiskies was bottled at full proof. Limited to 5000 bottles, this third edition completes the range following ÒChichibu the firstÓ and Chichibu the floor maltedÓ. The Chichibu peated leaves the impression of a whisky older than it actually is. Rich and balanced, it opens to smoky, vanilla, caramelised sugar and soft spices notes.
