CAPOVILLA Grappa di Bassano
A blend of Merlot and Cabernet, supplemented with other varieties such as Tokay, this grappa is the only one authorised to be labelled “Di Bassano” (del Grappa), from the historic town where this Italian spirit was invented. The four wine producers in this commune all work exclusively with the Capovilla distillery! This low alcohol content grappa is a perfect introduction to traditional Italian marc brandy.
All bottles of Capovilla spirits are laced, waxed and finally stamped by hand, reflecting the care that is taken at every stage of production. The handwritten label records the type of fruit, the year of harvest and the number of each bottle. A genuine work of art.
