Bielle 2001 Single Cask, cask #2 comes from one of 12 casks carefully selected by La Maison du Whisky. Located on a plateau on the island near Guadeloupe, the distillery uses sugarcane from the estate and its neighbouring land farmed by partner farmers for this rum. Bottled as it comes out of the barrel, this agricultural rum has been aged in old bourbon barrels in the tropical heat of the island of Marie-Galante. The number of bottles produced was 229.
