A peaty version of Edradour, this Ballechin was aged for 15 years in Madeira casks before being bottled at its natural strength. With a beautiful mahogany color and copper highlights, this single malt has an intense and fruity profile where the influence of Madeira wine (dried fruits, leather) mixes brilliantly with the smoky notes of whisky.

Created in 2001, the Straight from the Cask range is inspired by our tastings in the distilleries’ cellars. Each unique cask is selected and bottled by hand, at its natural strength, without chill filtration or coloring, in order to preserve the natural character of the whisky and to reproduce the tasting experience right in the cask.
