Description
Tasting Notes
Color : Bright gold.
Nose : Rich, concentrated. Very fine, the first nose is both peaty, ashy, herbaceous (cut hay), spicy (cloves, anise) and mineral (chalk). On aeration, the aromatic palette is adorned with exoticism (pineapple, passion fruit), heady perfumes (iris, lily) and vanilla scents. Then it becomes increasingly camphorous and cand (lemon, grapefruit).
Palate : Elegant, balanced. Very lactic (coconut, nuts), the attack on the palate gives voice to a rather dry peat covered in soot and lime. Very fresh, the mid-palate is green (chlorophyll), licorice (stick) and infused (black tea). Gourmet, the aftertaste offers to savor a vanilla flan, a rhubarb pie or a strawberry tart. Of course, everything is coated in a diaphanous smoke.
Finish : Long, silky. In the continuation of the aftertaste, the beginning of the finish is energized by the juice of green lemons and mint leaves. Gradually, the peat becomes both milky, fruity (pear, plum) and herbaceous (anise, fennel). In the retro-olfaction, flavors of crustaceans, iodine and seaweed mix well with cocoa beans and salted butter caramel. The empty glass restores aromas of cooked agave, artichoke bottom, straw and burned earth after the harvests.
