Description

At once powerful and unctuous, the initial nose is characterized by medicinal notes (mustard seed), slightly damp soil and cut grass. Allowed to breathe, it becomes increasingly saline and mineral. Pleasantly rustic, it develops more heady (root ginger, gentian), spicy (ginger), lemony and honeyed (agave) tones. The very juicy (agave milk, juicy pear, white peach) attack is much more extroverted than the nose led us to believe. The mid-palate hands over to citrus (lemon, mandarin) and exotic fruit (banana, pineapple, kaffir lime). The very long finish brings out the vegetal and luxuriant character of the aromatic palette. Flavours of geranium honey, tropical plants and unharvested agave literally embalm a retronasal olfaction intimately linked with the palate.
